Chedham's Treasures!

4 May

Get up close and handle some of the Yard's most precious artefacts plus the chance to have a go at cleaning and caring for these prized treasures, preserved for everyone to enjoy!

 

Who do you think you are!

18 May

Run as part of Family & Community History month, this fascinating workshop will give you the chance to look at your own family tree and that of the Chedham family. Bring along photographs and mementos and delve into the past to find out all about your family history and what it might reveal............

 

Coronation Community Day

8th June

A fun day out inspired to bring our fantastic community together here in Wellesbourne! Fun inspiring activities for all the family! Coinciding with the Wellesbourne Street Fayre.

 

Wellesbourne on Wheels

15 June

As part of National Bicycle Week (15 - 23 June), celebrate Britain's favourite two wheeled mode of transport! Look around a collection of beautiful old, new and retro bicycles including Bill Chedham's very own treasured bike.  

 

Open Studios

13 July

Enjoy an electric mix of local artists show-casing their talent from painters and sculptures to blacksmiths and sign-writers plus the chance to buy some of their unique and handcrafted items.

 

Its all about Wood!

27th July

See the old fashioned and traditional methods of wood-turning and carving. Marvel at Bill Chedham's very own wood carvings and watch the fascinating process of wood being turned into objects.

 

Bee Fest

17 August

Find out about these amazing insects with talks and demonstrations from Bee-keeper's and lots of fun bee-inspired activities including a quiz, crafts and delicious local honey-tasting.

 

It's a Bugs Life!

31st August

Come along and build a bug hotel, the perfect home to house bugs from the garden! Then sit back, admire your handiwork and identify what the bugs are and what important tasks they do!

Apple Mania

Celebrate the Great British Apple with lots of fun apple activities and apple-tastic refreshments! Watch an apple press at work, hear an apple talk, enjoy apple games plus buy apple produce to take home!

 

Spook Fest

Enjoy some traditional Halloween fun including pumpkin carving, face painting and creepy craft activities!

 

Victorian Christmas

14 December

Step back in time and experience a traditional Victorian Christmas with roasted chestnuts, Christmas themed cakes, complimentary mulled wine/hot apple and mini mince pies, music, readings and a guest appearance from Father Christmas!
