The 2018 Season will start on 5th May and we will be open every Saturday until  29th  September. There will be three further events: 27th October for Halloween 10th November for Remembrance commemorating the end of WW1 and 15thDecember for Christmas.

The Yard will open at 11am each Saturday and close at 3pm.

There will be live demonstrations by the blacksmith and wood turners working in the yard each Saturday.

For the children there is the Mouse Trail – find the mice hiding in the yard and get a prize when you have discovered their names. It is fun for the parents as well.

Come along and join a guided tour or explore at your own pace.

Be sure to take some time out from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and soak up the peaceful atmosphere in our café, where light refreshments are available and watch the wildlife around the garden.

If you want a more substantial meal after your visit then contact the Stag’s Head in Chestnut Square, they offer a wide range of good food.
